Since the age of four, the founder of Mechatronik has been pursuing his passion for taking apart nearly all mechanical and electrical devices and then putting them back together again in newly optimized form. At the age of 15, he carried the parts of an old Kreidler Florett into his bedroom in plastic bags and pieced the disassembled moped back together again.

After his apprenticeship at AMG, he studied vehicle technology at the Esslingen University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule für Technik Esslingen). And as if that were not enough, during his course of study he founded Mechatronik GbR in 1996. In 2001 he successfully completed his studies.

He spends his leisure time with his family or participating in classic rallies at home and abroad.
