Neuffen experienced a true motorsport spectacle on Sunday. One hundred historic racing cars, including the Mechatronik team with its freshly overhauled Mercedes-Benz 190E EVO II, thrilled thousands of spectators. The three exhibition runs through the picturesque streets of the old town and up to Hülben made the hearts of all motorsport fans beat faster. The hill climb was the first endurance test for our racing car after the complete engine overhaul. It mastered the demanding course with ease and proved its full potential for the upcoming events. The event, organised by the Schwäbische Alb Bergpreis interest group, is reminiscent of the legendary hill climbs of the 1960s and 1970s and is becoming increasingly popular. In glorious sunshine, around 15,000 visitors gathered in the four paddocks and along the track to experience the historic racing cars up close.
