In pleasant weather, the Mechatronik After-Work Event took place for the first time in Pleidelsheim in 2026, providing the perfect setting to celebrate a shared passion for exceptional cars in a relaxed atmosphere. Numerous customers, friends of the company and motoring enthusiasts accepted the invitation and enjoyed a wonderful evening surrounded by rare cars, good conversation and culinary delights.

The centrepiece of the event was an exclusive selection of vehicles from the Mechatronik collection, which is rarely seen together in this configuration. Among the absolute highlights were two Mercedes-Benz CLK GTRs, including the world’s only blue example, as well as a Pagani Zonda F Roadster and the legendary Mercedes-Benz SL 73 AMG. The exhibition was complemented by the full range of Mercedes-AMG Black Series models, as well as numerous historically significant AMG vehicles, from the famous ‘Rote Sau’ to the SEC Widebody. The extraordinary variety of vehicles on display provided a striking insight into the development of AMG and Mercedes-Benz Motorsport over several decades.

In addition, all visitors had the opportunity to arrive in their own vehicles and display them on the event site. This resulted in an equally impressive array of extraordinary cars, including, amongst others, a Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster, a McLaren 600LT, a Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, as well as numerous other sports cars, classic cars and collector’s cars. The mix of vehicles from the Mechatronik collection and the guests’ automotive treasures made the after-work event a very special gathering place for enthusiasts.

Mechatronik’s spacious grounds and garden provided the ideal backdrop for a relaxed summer evening. Against a backdrop of nostalgic music, first-class catering and chilled drinks, numerous interesting conversations took place between collectors, customers and motoring enthusiasts. The facilities were made full use of throughout the evening, leading to many fascinating technical discussions on topics such as technology, restoration and value retention.
