Amid glorious sunshine, spring-like temperatures and a fantastic atmosphere, the 2026 motoring season got underway at the Season Opening at Motorworld Böblingen. Thousands of visitors took advantage of the perfect weather to admire a host of exceptional cars and chat with like-minded enthusiasts.

Mechatronik was also represented with a selection of exceptional vehicles. Among the highlights at our stand were the rare Porsche 964 Carrera RS 3.8, the uncompromising Mercedes-Benz CLK DTM AMG, the high-performance Mercedes-Benz CLK 63 AMG Black Series and the exclusive New-Tech Mercedes-Benz M-SL. The cars attracted a great deal of interest throughout the day and provided numerous opportunities for fascinating conversations with customers, collectors and motorsport enthusiasts.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to all visitors who came to our stand for the many interesting conversations and the consistently positive feedback. Events such as the Season Opening demonstrate year after year just how vibrant and passionate the motoring community is.
