Since its founding in 1997, Mechatronik has grown from a small three-man workshop in Großbottwar, Swabia, to a globally renowned company based in Pleidelsheim, north of Stuttgart. Today, Mechatronik is considered one of the top addresses when it comes to trading in the rarest and most exclusive collector's vehicles – from legendary classics to modern supercars and hypercars that combine automotive history and technical perfection. A particular focus is on the development and production of our unique Mercedes-Benz restomods, which operate under the name “New-Tech Series.” Here, the iconic bodywork and timeless design of classic Mercedes models are fused with modern technology, optimized performance, and comfort. Each vehicle in this series is a tailor-made, one-of-a-kind model – designed for collectors and enthusiasts who are looking for something extraordinary. In addition to restoring Mercedes-Benz classics, the maintenance and servicing of rare Mercedes-AMG vehicles from the 1980s, 1990s, and 2000s is one of the special core competencies of our workshop. We treat these unique performance models, often with low production numbers and special collector's value, with the same commitment to perfection as our in-house projects. With over 6,000 square meters of modern workshop and development space, our team of more than 40 people – a mix of experienced masters of their craft and highly qualified young talent – provides the perfect infrastructure for maximum precision and creativity. We traditionally train our young talent ourselves in order to pass on the expertise we have built up over decades to the next generation.
