The Maserati MC12 offered here is the one with probably the lowest mileage in the world with only 230 kilometres since its delivery in 2005, which took place on 10 March 2005 by Loris Kessel Auto SA with its headquarters in Grancia, near Lugano, in the Italian part of Switzerland. The first owner, who lives only a few kilometres away in Lugano, exhibits the car in his private collection without ever driving it himself. It was not until 2014, after more than 9 years in the first ownership, that the first change of ownership took place. Still with the factory mileage of only 169 KM. As a result, the vehicle is transported via air freight to Tokyo/Japan to its new owner, where it arrives in November 2014. At that time, an MC12 with factory kilometres was already almost impossible to find, so it was not surprising that the new owner did not want to drive the car, but simply stored it in his collection. Almost 4 years later, our MC12 changes hands again. The journey leads to Hong Kong, where the car arrives at a well-known collector in August 2016. In October 2018, the owner had the MC12 serviced by Auto Italia, the Maserati experts in Hong Kong, to ensure that the car was always ready to go. Mileage at the time of the service on 4 October 2018 is 179 kilometres. After 7 years in the possession of the Hong Kong collector, the car returned to Europe in the spring of 2023 and finally to our company, where it underwent an extensive technical inspection. The inspection revealed that the car had not suffered any damage during its service life, despite the fact that it had not been driven more than 230 kilometres in over 18 years. The first tyres from the day of delivery of the MC12 are still mounted. With this MC12 we are pleased to be able to offer the ultimate time capsule from 2005. With regard to the price development of a Mercedes CLK GTR, Porsche GT1 or McLaren F1, it becomes clear that an MC12 brings enormous potential in value development, especially with such a low mileage.
