The Ferrari 512 TR

The Ferrari 512 TR was an evolution of the iconic Testarossa and was first presented to the public in 1991. This advancement brought not only a redesign of the exterior to optimize aerodynamics but also a comprehensive overhaul of the interior, engine, and chassis. At the heart of the 512 TR was a powerful 5-liter V12 engine that produced an impressive output of 315 kW (428 HP). This increase in performance was achieved through a series of modifications, including revised cylinder heads with larger valves, a redesigned exhaust system, and newly designed airboxes. The external differences between the Testarossa and the 512 TR were unmistakable. At the front of the vehicle, the traditional continuous grille was replaced by a trapezoidal opening, echoing the design line of the 348 TB. The engine cover also underwent a fundamental redesign, with the bulge being made flatter and featuring an additional cooling slot. The characteristic perforated metal bands on the fins of the hood were no longer present, and the rear bumper was redesigned to form an enclosure for the exhaust pipes. Despite its limited production period from 1991 to 1994, during which only 2,261 units of the 512 TR were manufactured, this vehicle remains a fascinating chapter in Ferrari's history. Its distinctive elegance, combined with impressive performance and craftsmanship, makes the 512 TR a coveted collector's item and a timeless symbol of the passion and pursuit of perfection associated with the Ferrari brand.

The vehicle offered here was delivered in 1992 in Italy and handed over to its first owner, Franco Pozzoli. Since its delivery, the Ferrari has an Italian registration document, which is still available to us in its original form today. The original service booklet, including the warranty card, is also available to us in its original condition.
